Cheetah robot can run and avoid obstacles despite being 'blind'

MIT researchers create a robot cheetah that jumps and runs across rough terrain, climbs over debris, and maintains balance when being pushed around, despite having to rely on "blind locomotion." Roselle Chen reports.
